A Weekly Marketing Routine for Restaurants and Cafes
Restaurants do not need a huge budget to market well. They need a routine they can repeat every week. Here is one that works for most restaurants and cafes.
Monday: plan the week
Pick two dishes or moments to feature, one offer and one behind-the-scenes idea. Write the captions in advance.
Tuesday and Thursday: post a reel
Short vertical video of food being prepared, a signature dish or the atmosphere. Open with the most appetising shot in the first two seconds.
Wednesday: update Google Maps
Add fresh photos, update hours and post an offer. Reply to every review, good or bad, politely.
Friday: promote the weekend
Run a story series with the menu highlights, booking link and a clear call to action to message or book.
Weekend: collect proof
Ask happy guests to leave a review and tag you. Save the best photos and videos for next week.
Every week: measure
Count bookings, direct orders and messages and note which posts brought them. Do more of what worked.
We run this routine for clients through our social media service and video production. See also our page for restaurants in the GCC.
