Multilingual Website SEO: Arabic, Turkish, Azerbaijani, French and English
Serving customers in several languages can multiply your reach, but only if search engines understand which page is for whom.
Use one URL per language
Give each language its own page, such as a Turkish page and an English page, instead of switching text with scripts.
Add hreflang tags
Hreflang tells Google which language version to show to which user. Each version should reference the others and itself.
Set the page language
Declare the correct language in the page code, and use right-to-left layout for Arabic.
Translate for meaning, not word for word
Research keywords in each language, because people rarely search the way a literal translation reads.
Link the versions
Add a visible link between versions so users and crawlers can move across them.
